Order Changes and Refunds
At ShadeSwift, each product is custom-made to your specifications, cut precisely to ensure a perfect fit inside or outside your window sill. Because of the personalized nature of our products, we encourage you to review all selections carefully before finalizing your purchase.
- Changes or Cancellations:
We are happy to accommodate order changes or cancellations if you contact us within 24 hours of placing your order. After this period, your order will enter production, and changes or cancellations will no longer be possible.
Important Note:
After the 24-hour window, orders are non-refundable and cannot be modified.
Damaged Merchandise
We take pride in delivering high-quality products. If your item arrives damaged, contains manufacturing defects, or was made incorrectly, please notify us within 14 calendar days of delivery.
What to Do:
- Contact our customer service team with details about the issue.
- Provide photos of the damage or defect to help us address your concerns quickly.
Resolution:
We will repair or replace the item at no additional cost to you. In some cases, we may request that the damaged item be returned to us for assessment.
Refunds
Due to the custom nature of our products, refunds are not available except in cases where replacements are not possible for damaged or defective merchandise. Refunds, if applicable, will be issued to the original payment method.

- Operational Failures: Roller shades not rolling properly, motorized shades not functioning as intended, or cellular shades losing tension due to manufacturing defects.
- Fabric Issues: Fraying, discoloration (not caused by sunlight or environmental conditions), or fabric defects present at the time of delivery.
- Improper Assembly: Misaligned or incorrectly assembled components.
Whats not Covered:
This warranty does not cover issues caused by improper handling, installation errors, or external conditions. Specifically, the following are excluded:
- Installation Damage:
- Damage caused by dropping, bending, or improperly installing the shade.
- Use of incorrect tools, hardware, or techniques during installation.
- Wear and Tear:
- Natural wear from normal use, including fraying cords or fabric over time.
- Fading or discoloration due to prolonged exposure to sunlight, humidity, or extreme temperatures.
- Improper Use:
- Damage caused by excessive force, pulling, or attempting to modify the product.
- Use of the product in unintended environments (e.g., outdoor settings).
- Third-Party Repairs or Alterations:
- Repairs, alterations, or replacements performed by non-ShadeSwift personnel.
- Environmental Damage:
- Water damage, fire, pests, or other environmental conditions outside of our control.
Customer Responsibilities:
To maintain your warranty coverage, we ask that you:
- Follow all installation and care instructions provided with your product.
- Use your window treatments for their intended purposes only.
- Handle your shades with care during installation and operation.
Warranty Claim Process:

What are Roller Shades?

Additional Options
By default, roller shades include only the fabric on the tube, which means the mounting brackets will be visible, and there will be a small gap at the top since the fabric roll won’t be flush with the window casing. To achieve a more finished look and eliminate this gap, consider upgrading to a cassette valance or fascia to cover the brackets and roller tube.
You can also choose the direction from which the fabric rolls down. The standard roll is recommended for most windows, as it allows the fabric to come off the back of the roll and sit closer to the window, providing better light blocking and a cleaner fit. Opt for a reverse roll if you have window cranks or protruding latches to help navigate these obstacles.
