Factory Deductions:
Inside mount fabric will have a deduction of 1 1/4″ made from the factory to allow the mechanism to work properly.
For total blackout we suggest adding side channels to cover light gaps on the side of the window shades.
Do not account for these deductions when measuring your windows.
Motorized Shades:
Motorized shades will come to you already programmed, and ready to operate.
A 1-channel remote can operate on a single frequency – One roller shade or a group of window shades.
The 5-channel and 16-channel remote allows you to operate multiple window shades or groups of window shades. We suggest having a dedicated remote control for every room.
When upgrading to multi-channel/frequency remote, please select ‘No Remote’ for any additional motorized shades you want to add to and power with it.

Additional Options
By default, roller shades include only the fabric on the tube, which means the mounting brackets will be visible, and there will be a small gap at the top since the fabric roll won’t be flush with the window casing. To achieve a more finished look and eliminate this gap, consider upgrading to a cassette valance or fascia to cover the brackets and roller tube.
You can also choose the direction from which the fabric rolls down. The standard roll is recommended for most windows, as it allows the fabric to come off the back of the roll and sit closer to the window, providing better light blocking and a cleaner fit. Opt for a reverse roll if you have window cranks or protruding latches to help navigate these obstacles.
